Privacy Policy

This document describes what StockPulse collects about you, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. It is written in plain language and describes what the system actually does.
Who is responsible
StockPulse is operated by the service owner, whose contact details appear at the end of this document. You can write directly with any privacy question.
What we collect when you sign up
Sign-up happens through your Google account. Google gives us your email address, name and profile picture. We never receive or store your password, and we have no access to your inbox, files or contacts.
What we collect while you use the service
The stocks you chose to follow, your settings (percentage threshold, muted categories, alert language) and the alerts sent to you. If you connected Telegram or WhatsApp, also the chat id or phone number, which we need to deliver alerts.
Network addresses
The subscription is personal, so we record which networks you sign in from. We store the network prefix only, never the full address, and for one purpose: detecting an account shared between several people. An address unseen for fourteen days is dropped from the count. We do not use this for tracking, advertising or locating you.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie: the sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in between pages. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking networks and no third-party pixels.
Who the data is shared with
Your data is never sold or rented. It reaches the providers that run the service, and each sees only what it needs: Google for sign-in, Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Anthropic for writing the news summaries, and Telegram or Meta for delivering alerts. The market data providers, Finnhub and Yahoo Finance, get stock symbols only, with nothing that identifies you.
How long we keep it
Account details and your watchlist are kept while the subscription is active. Alert history is kept so you can see what was sent and what the stock did afterwards. Deleting your account deletes everything associated with you.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and all its contents. Email requests are handled within a reasonable time, and deletion is complete and irreversible.
Security
Traffic is encrypted, database access is restricted, and every query is filtered by account owner, so one user can't see another's data. We don't store card details.
Changes to this document
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated. A material change will also be announced inside the service.
